End User License Agreement
IMPORTANT--READ CAREFULLY: This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity), APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS, and/or the AUTHOR of the ScreenForge screenwriting software package for MS Word. (MS Word is a registered trademark of Microsoft Corporation.) The SOFTWARE PRODUCT includes computer software, the associated media, any printed materials, and any “online” or electronic documentation included in the ScreenForge screenwriting software package. This EULA is valid and grants the end user license rights ONLY if the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is genuine, the package is complete, and has not been altered in any way. You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this EULA by installing, copying, downloading, accessing or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. If you do not agree then you may not use or copy the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, and you must remove any and all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT from your computer system and any other type of storage media.
APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS reserves the right to alter any part of this license agreement, as well as the registration price, and distribution method, of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT at any time without prior notice.

SOFTWARE PRODUCT UNREGISTERED SHAREWARE/DEMO VERSIONS
All UNREGISTERED versions of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT prior to and excluding version 1.5 (This includes, but is not limited to, version 1.0, 1.1, and 1.1a.) are SHAREWARE, and are intended for DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES ONLY. Individual copies of the UNREGISTERED versions of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT may be distributed, as long as all of the files remain in their original, unaltered state, however, it is recommended that individuals interested in EVALUATING the SOFTWARE PRODUCT be referred to the APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS website for a copy of the SOFTWARE to ensure that they are receiving the most recent information and version of the SOFTWARE available.
The SOFTWARE PRODUCT may be EVALUATED by UNREGISTERED USERS for up to forty-five (45) days. The continued use of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT by UNREGISTERED USERS for any length of time beyond the initial forty-five (45) day evaluation period is an unauthorized, illegal use of the software for which you may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
NOTE: If you use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT for any actual production work (i.e., you write a screenplay with it) then you are no longer evaluating the SOFTWARE and must register it.
SOFTWARE PRODUCT REGISTERED VERSIONS
All REGISTERED versions of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (This includes, but is not limited to, version 1.1, 1.1a, 1.5, and 2.0.) are available to REGISTERED USERS ONLY. ScreenForge v1.5 and higher are available FREE only to REGISTERED USERS of earlier versions of the SOFTWARE; are not available as an UNREGISTERED DEMO; and are not licensed as a SHAREWARE product.
SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE
The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by United States copyright laws and international copyright treaty provisions, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed not sold, which means that you do not purchase the SOFTWARE, you are purchasing a single (1) user license, which authorizes you to legally continue to use the software beyond the initial forty-five (45) day evaluation period. If you wish to legally continue to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT beyond the EVALUATION period you must register the SOFTWARE with APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS. If you do not wish to continue to use the SOFTWARE beyond the EVALUATION period then you must remove any and all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT from your computer system and any other type of storage media.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE. You are entitled to install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on a maximum of two (2) computers at any one time. This means that you can use this SOFTWARE at home, or at work, as long as the SOFTWARE is not used on more than one (1) computer at a time. Apart from installation you may make one (1) copy of the SOFTWARE for backup or archival purposes.
2. OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS. Individual members of a writing “team” or a company (production or other) with more than one (1) writer, who use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT must acquire their own single (1) user license from APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS. You may not network the SOFTWARE or otherwise use it on more than one (1) computer at a time.
3. UPGRADES. All available upgrades of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are FREE to REGISTERED USERS.
4. COPYRIGHT. The “ScreenForge” name and the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are exclusively owned by APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS. All rights reserved. Copyright© 1998-2001
5. PRODUCT SUPPORT. REGISTERED USERS are entitled to unlimited technical support. UNREGISTERED USERS may receive technical support, but it is not obligatory. Technical support is provided via E-Mail ONLY.
6. OTHER RESTRICTIONS. Do not loan, rent, lease or sell the SOFTWARE. A user license is nontransferable. The only way for anyone to be licensed to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is to purchase a single (1) user license from APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS via registration of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. Since you have the opportunity to try the SOFTWARE PRODUCT before you purchase it, the registration price is non-refundable. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES are REGISTERED versions of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT to be distributed by anyone other than APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS and/or the AUTHOR of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. If you are a REGISTERED USER you must contact APOTHEOSIS PICTURES in order to receive the most recent version of the SOFTWARE available, or to obtain replacement copies of the SOFTWARE.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES shall any party mass distribute any versions of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT without prior written permission from APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS and/or the AUTHOR of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. This includes but is not limited to any form of storage media such as floppy disks, CD-ROMs, and the INTERNET.
SOFTWARE PRODUCT IN THE CLASSROOM AND/OR AS A TEACHING AID
The SOFTWARE PRODUCT may be used in a classroom as a teaching aid, however, if the course time exceeds the forty-five (45) day evaluation period, or if the instructor continues to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT for more than one course (with the course time lasting less than forty-five (45) days), then the instructor must register the SOFTWARE PRODUCT with APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS. If more than one instructor is teaching the course, then each one must purchase their own single (1) user license. The instructor(s) must require each student to acquire their own UNREGISTERED DEMO copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT for the course from the APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS website. The instructor(s) should recommend that the students register the SOFTWARE PRODUCT if they wish to continue to use it after the forty-five (45) day evaluation period has expired.
The students using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are required to abide by the terms and conditions of the EULA. If they wish to continue to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT beyond the forty-five (45) day evaluation period, they must register the SOFTWARE PRODUCT with APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS.
SOFTWARE PRODUCT DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
The SOFTWARE PRODUCT was developed on an English language version of MS Word, and may not work properly in other language versions due to certain language specific programming codes.
The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind expressed or implied. The entire risk arising out of the use or performance of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT remains with you.
In no event shall APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS, or the AUTHOR of this SOFTWARE PRODUCT be liable for any damages whatsoever. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of business, or loss of income.
If you receive, or download, the SOFTWARE PRODUCT from an UNAUTHORIZED distribution source APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS cannot guarantee that the SOFTWARE PRODUCT has not been altered, tampered with, or infected with a computer virus. If you do not feel that you can trust the distribution source then you should not use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT without first verifying the distributor with APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS, or simply download the SOFTWARE PRODUCT from the APOTHEOSIS PICTURES PRODUCTIONS website.
